Sam’s drive to be in the presence of our deepest and innermost experience has guided her to pursue an embodied path to healing and awakening into the truth of who we are from the inside out. A therapist, artist, and an athlete, Sam practiced ballet from an early age, was a professional figure skater for ten years, and a performance artist. The approach to her work in all aspects of life, both clinical and creative, is body-centric and oriented towards the sensual and spiritual depth of somatic experience.

Sam’s approach to therapy is to guide individuals, couples, and groups deepen their relationship with themselves and with one another through a somatic and attachment-based approach through integrating and reclaiming all splits off parts of the whole person.

Sam offers a trauma-informed, sex-positive, intersectional, and social justice-oriented frame that is rooted in attachment theory, depth psychology, and body-oriented approaches to psychotherapy. Her passion for helping individuals, partners, and couples heal and recover from personal, collective, and intergenerational traumas and ruptures is held in connection with honoring each individual’s expression of self with another from the inside out.
